In a word, YES. You are allowed to order, for your personal use, 4 cartons per month of cigarettes from us and 200 cigars. You are NOT allowed to re-sell them. This is in line with EEC law on T2 duty paid goods. The important point here is that all the tobacco we send you is DUTY and VAT PAID . We have paid all Spanish taxes for you. How do you know? Simple. All the goods you receive will have a stamp which looks like this:

This is the official stamp placed on all tobacco goods meaning that the goods have been purchased legally from an official establishment (in Spain, tobacco is a state monopoly). If you buy cigarettes from Spain which don´t have this stamp, it´s not legal. This means you are breaking the law by commiting a criminal offence.

NEWS UPDATE: 05/01/2001 - Worried about Customs & Excise seizing your goods? Recently, the British press has been publishing several articles quoting Customs & Excise as saying that they are seizing tobacco goods sent by post, despite this being in direct contravention of EEC law.
Although this has not affected us significantly, we have insituted a FREE REPLACEMENT ORDER policy in the event that this may happen. What it means is this: if your goods were to be illegaly seized by Customs, we will, free of charge, send you a replacement order immediately.
